Inspired by vintage circus and carnival posters. Spiders have always appealed to me as an artist, especially as we both weave stories using threads. This little spider lady is hand embroidered on tea stained canvas fabric. She is set within a black painted frame which in turn is secured to a wooden panel, the backing painted orange and the border painted black and distressed.
