Refund policy

Returns are not accepted. 

Refunds will only be considered for pieces that arrive damaged, broken or are lost in transit. 

Packages marked as "delivered" by the shipping carrier are not eligible for refunds.  Please contact your local post office or the shipping carrier.

-If an item arrived damaged please contact TwoMushrooms via email by responding to your order confirmation or by using the contact page on the website.  Be sure to include your order number, recipient name and if possible pictures of the damage.

Please take the time to read each items full description and to examine the pictures carefully.  As with all handmade items, imperfections are to be expected.  Several pieces incorporate vintage/antique items that are aged and worn.  All items are sold as is.

TwoMushrooms does not offer refunds for lost or stolen packages.  Please refer to the FAQ and policies page for details.

Please keep these factors in mind before placing your order:

-Imperfections are to be expected with handmade items.

-Pieces are photographed in natural lighting, please note that differences in monitor screens and the camera itself may lead to slight variations in color.  

-Please be careful with your embroidered piece as threads may snag or catch and pull distorting the design.

-Several pieces incorporate the use of vintage items include most frames.  These elements are chosen for their aged and worn look.  Please examine all pictures closely to avoid disappointment.

Returns
Returns are not accepted at this time.  However, if you are unhappy with your item for any reason please contact me.  Situations will be handled on a case by case basis. 


Refunds 

-Refunds will only be considered on items that arrive broken or damaged.  If an item arrives damaged please be sure to take pictures of the item and the shipping box.

-Refunds will be offered for packages considered lost via the shipping carriers terms and conditions.  This includes packages with tracking numbers that have not been updated for several weeks.  Any package tracking that indicates that the package was "delivered" is not considered lost and therefor not eligible for a refund.  Please contact the shipping carrier concerning packages labeled "delivered" that have not been received.  Please refer to shipping policies below for more details.

Cancellations

If an order needs to be canceled please contact me within an hour of placing your order.  Once a package is dropped off at the post office that order may not be canceled or returned for a refund.


Shipping
Should it be determined that an item is eligible for a return please note that the customer will be responsible for all shipping costs. 

TwoMushrooms will not accept responsibility for missing or lost packages.  By purchasing shipping you are agreeing to TwoMushrooms shipping policies and that of the third party shipping carrier.  Once a package has been handed over to the shipping carrier,  TwoMushrooms no longer has control of the item.  The customer is responsible for contacting the shipping carrier/postal service should a shipping issue arise.

If you have not received a package marked as "delivered" via its tracking - please contact USPS or your local post office.

-All items are shipped with insurance and tracking.  Insurance does not cover packages that go missing once they have been marked as "delivered" via the shipping carrier tracking.  Insurance does cover packages that are lost within the carrier system and have NOT been marked as "delivered." *During busier holiday seasons packages may be marked as delivered when in fact they are still on the truck.  Please wait 1-2 days before contacting the shipping carrier concerning missing packages*  If a package is marked as "delivered" yet after 2 days it is still missing, please contact the shipping carrier or your local post office.

-Please be sure your shipping address is correct at checkout.  TwoMushrooms will not assume responsibility for incorrect addresses.

-If package is large, it may be shipped via UPS as oppose to USPS without notification.  This may take additional days en route.

-Please be sure that there is a safe place to leave/deliver packages before ordering.

-TwoMushrooms will not assume responsibility for, or refund for, lost, stolen, or missing packages left on doorsteps.  Please contact your post office if your package does not arrive or is missing.

-If a package is returned to TwoMushrooms by the shipping carrier for any reason, the customer is responsible for paying additional shipping fees.  Original shipping fee will not be refunded.  

-Delays are to be expected with all shipping carriers and services (including priority), delivery dates are never guaranteed.  Expect Delays during busier holiday seasons.

-Overseas Customs fees and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient. 

-If a package arrives damaged- please take pictures of the shipping box, and any broken items.  Please contact TwoMushrooms via your order confirmation email or the contact form via this website to discuss next steps.
