In the medieval church, the most devout were often represented by the symbol of the bee. Working silently for the good of the hive, filling the churches cup with honey.
A cup overrunning with sweet honey. Hand embroidered on tea stained canvas is an eye being swarmed by small black bees. Golden beads ooze from the eye and over the cups rim, from each strand a crystal hangs. The metal cup is vintage and very tarnished, scratched and worn. On one side the name Gail is engraved.
