I'm not sure you can call this a book anymore. It is in bad condition and barley being held together however, the pages themselves are in aged but good condition.
This book is filled with photographs of Paris and the surrounding areas of France. Published in 1894, these pages a full of images of just about every monument and famous building and their interiors. As well as the famous shots, there are several street scene photos capturing the people and the time. Some highlights are the photos of the Louvre and the rooms filled with art inside. There are several images of famous artworks throughout Paris including several of Joan of Arc. Images of Notre Damn, its interior and its gargoyles. Scenes of a presidential burial, and local cemeteries including the catacombs. Even shots if the interior of the Museum of Natural History and some of the Moulin Rouge actors.
The cover is no longer attached. It is very worn and falling apart, the leather is very badly damaged. There is no back cover. The spine is falling apart, the leather all over is peeling off, your hands will get dusty so you might want to wear a pair of gloves when handling the cover. I will wrap it separately in plastic. This book is being sold for its hundreds of images.
