Inspired by the classic images of vampires, their hands and that luscious lace. The hand is hand sewn using tea stained canvas fabric. The edges are left rough and worn. Please look at the fingers in the images closely. Burning the hand is a vintage crucifix, beaded strands of blood hand hang from it. Gunmetal chain wrap around the fingers. Adorning the hand is vintage and antique lace and linen. Sewn into the hanging linen are hand embroidered images of a tooth, crossed nails and and skull. Strings are left hanging. All set in a wooden stained and distressed coffin.
The vintage/antique lace and linen are worn, stained and torn. They are left this way to add to the old and decaying feel of the piece. Please examine those pictures closely.
