A lantern inspired by the dead, her name was Carlotta A Elton, 15 years of age. Featured in this piece is an antique cabinet card, her name and age written on the back. The front of the wooden lantern is adorned with a hand embroidered planchette. The embroidered fabric is secured to a wooden planchette shape. Place a battery operated tealight inside and Carlotta will glow.
